God loves you more than you can imagine. It’s true. He loves you so much, in fact, that there is nothing He wants more than to be with you. He wants you to experience the peace that having Him in your life will bring. And, most importantly, He wants you to experience life—here on earth, and life everlasting—with Him.

He offers that to everyone. But, not everyone takes Him up on it.

The Bible says: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Our Problem

It’s hard to believe that someone would love us so much. But, it’s true. Still, many have a hard time being at peace with this because we are separated from God by the things we do. We all are. Every one of us.

The Bible says:   “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23

God’s Solution

So what is a SAMIE anyway?

In Faith

Empowered by God

Welcome to the SAMIE Sisterhood. Ok, we know we're not technically sisters. None of you get to steal our favorite sweaters or eat the last donut and blame it on us. By sisters, we mean sisters in Christ. Which means we get the good part of having sisters--you know, the warm, mushy, supportive stuff--without the sweater-stealing part.

We want you to feel right at home here. Doesn't matter if you have green skin (you um, might want to see a doctor about that) or whiskers sprouting out of your left arm (ditto on the doctor comment). The SAMIE Sisterhood has nothing to do with whether you're short, tall, or even green and whiskery.

The SAMIE Sisterhood is all about living a Christian life. This is a place for saavy Christian girls like yourself to connect with other saavy Christian girls. Why?  Cause when you have the support of your sisters, you can avoid the kind of really bad choices that haunt you until you're eighty.

You're at a time in your life when you're starting to stand on your own two feet. With this new maturity comes a lot of choices and just plain hard stuff.

What do you do when your best friend decides she doesn't like you anymore?

Should you get your belly button pierced like all of your friends even if the thought grosses you out more than the ten-month-old carton of cottage cheese you once found in the back of the fridge?

If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?  Okay--so we just totally put that one there to see if you were still paying attention.  You are? Good!  Glad you're still here.

Time to get to the good stuff...

We have games, quizzes, and examples to help you make the right decisions. No, we don't have all the answers. If we did, we'd just tell you. Or else we'd go on late night TV, produce our own infomercial and make millions.

No infomercials for us.  All we have is God.  Which, of course, is a zillion times better.

What We Believe

Mission Statement

We believe that children are a blessing from God and that as people of influence, we are responsible and held accountable to Him for shaping and preparing them for a life of service to Him. We believe that by teaching Biblical truth in a relevant and relatable way, that young girls will learn to discern God's leading and direction for their lives. We believe the tween years are formative spiritual years and an important time to teach young girls to build a growing relationship with Christ so that they are in a comfortable and trusting relationship with Him as they enter their teens.

Vision: Young women redeemed through Christ who go on to influence others for His purposes.

Core Beliefs: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of man by dying on the cross.  He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.  He ascended to Heaven, exists as our mediator and advocate, and will return again to earth to reign as King.

Salvation is a gift from God .  All men are lost, sinful and face the judgement of God. Man can never make up for his sin in any way.  It is only through trusting in Jesus Christ and accepting His offer of forgiveness that man can be saved from the penalty of sin, which is death.

Eternal life begins when a person receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith and is secure in that salvation for eternity.

The Bible is the infallible Word of God. It is the supreme source of truth and final authority for Christian beliefs and living.  Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
